Twilight Eclispe August 23, 2010 Charlene M. King I enjoy this cd very much and the shipper was prompt and on time. I recommend them and this cd.
Don't think this is an original manufactured copy: It's fake August 22, 2010 daisyandconfused I received the CD and it was a poor attempt at fooling the customer. It was made out of someone's home with a cd burner and poor quality printer. The sound of the CD was distorted and after realizing that it was fake, I couldn't get past it. I ended up buying it at Target for 9.99. If it doesn't bother you that you are buying something that is falsely advertised, then go ahead.
Best 'Twilight' album yet August 21, 2010 Allison Ely Barnett The first Twilight album was very good and so is this one. Very good mix of indie and well-known groups. Anyone that loves the movie would definately love this album too.
How does one review something as personal as music? August 18, 2010 J. Lindeboom I like this soundtrack. And like many others, I didn't get it because I'm a rabid Twilight fan. I just like soundtracks and I happen to enjoy the previous ones as well.
But I rarely review music CD's, because music taste is so personal, there's no good or bad. Just because I like it won't mean you will.
I like unconventional music. Not because it's "in" to like relatively lesser known bands, but because I just do. I like "hybrid" for example, but I am not a fan of the much better known "Muse". Their song on this CD is merely okay, to me. Vampire Weekend left me indifferent as well.
However I loved "Heavy in your Arms" , "Let's get Lost" and "Million miles an hour". I could go on and describe those songs as I see fit, but I don't think I will be able to them any justice with my writing skills. Sometimes, you just need to listen to a couple of samples (or see the movie) and decide for yourself if this is something for you.
I can tell you it is varied, a bit dark at times, light at others. Most of the songs aren't "hit material" of the kind you see on MTV.
'Great. Can you get any more vague than that?' you're wondering. 'What is this review worth to me?'
My answer: nothing. Music is not reviewable unless it's describable. And it's not. What one calls "dull" is "haunting" for someone else. So try before you buy.
Take the story wherever you go . . August 18, 2010 G. Knight-Blake (Denver, CO) What I love about the soundtrack is that it correlates with the movie, the story. Listening to it I am reminded of various scenes and situations. This kind of music - indie - was not even remotely what I was accustomed to listening to before the Twilight saga. I am a country music fan. But the Twilight books, movies, and
soundtracks create an atmosphere, a feeling if you will. And that I like to take with me.
